POV is operated by Ikonic Apperal AS (“we”, “us” or “our”).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information when you use the POV mobile application (“POV”).

What we collect

When you use POV, we may collect your email address.

We collect your email address when you choose to provide it in the app.

We do not collect or store the photos you take with POV on our servers. Your photos remain on your device unless we clearly tell you otherwise in the future.

We do not collect your phone number, contacts, precise location, or other personal information through POV unless this Privacy Policy is updated to explain such collection.

Why we collect your email

We use your email address to:

  • provide access to POV and manage your account or access to the app;

  • send you marketing communications if you have given us permission to do so;

  • send information about POV, giraffe, clothing releases, product drops, events and other updates that may be relevant to you.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in our emails.

Marketing communications

We will only send marketing emails to people who have actively chosen to receive them.

Your marketing consent is separate from your use of the POV app. You do not have to agree to marketing communications in order to use POV, where the app allows access without that consent.

We will not send you SMS messages or marketing text messages.

Mailchimp

We use Mailchimp to store and manage email subscribers and to send newsletters and other marketing communications.

When you subscribe to receive marketing communications, your email address and relevant consent information may be transferred to and processed by Mailchimp.

Mailchimp acts as a service provider for our email marketing activities. Mailchimp may process personal information in accordance with its own privacy policies and applicable data protection requirements.

How long we keep your information

We keep your email address for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

If you unsubscribe from marketing communications, we will stop sending you marketing emails. We may retain limited information necessary to record your unsubscribe request and prevent us from sending you unwanted marketing communications.

You may also request deletion of your personal information, subject to any information we are legally required or permitted to retain.

Depending on applicable data protection law, you may have rights including the right to:

  • request access to the personal information we hold about you;

  • request correction of inaccurate information;

  • request deletion of your information;
